Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm 15:00-18:00 (Mondays)

This safari gives you the opportunity to sample two local forms of transport; the snowmobile and the reindeer sled. You will drive your snowmobile to a local reindeer farm where you will then drive your own reindeer sleigh. Whilst there you will see plenty of reindeer and learn how these gentle animals are an essential part of Lappish life as you warm up by the fire with a hot drink and pastries before returning to Luosto. The Resort of Olos

Some 60 minutes from Kittila Airport in the direction of Muonio, lies the ski resort of Olos, truly another hidden Lappish gem. There are, but only a few places in Lapland where one can imagine the location to be the home of Santa Claus and it is no wonder why Santa has chosen Olos as one of his special homes in Lapland. The setting is peaceful and tranquil and yet it provides all the creature comforts one may require. Here one finds cross country tracts at your very door and slalom ski slopes running into the centre of activities.

4 Day Captivating Lapland

Day 1: Finally the day of your departure has arrived and the search for Santa begins. After having arrived at Olos and transferred to your chosen accommodation, you will be supplied with warm overgarments and boots.

Day 2: Using the traditional forms of Lappish transport we will search for Santa by means of reindeer, husky and skidoo rides. Meet a few of Santa's Special Elves, who knows, maybe they will show us the way to Santa.
